Welcome to Nordic Captures website. Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using our website, services or tours/workshops. By using any of those stated, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you don't agree to this terms you should not use our services.

2. Delivery of content to clients

  • The client must inform us within a period of 14 days after the delivery of the content for any editing changes.

  • We are allowed to use for our own marketing and competitions any of the content that we have taken for our clients.

  • At Nordic Captures we always try to deliver the content we produced for our clients as fast as possible. We have the right to deliver them up to 14 workings days since the day that the photoshoot occured.

  • After the content has been delivered, completed and accepted any extra requirements from the client will have an extra charge.

3. Liability

  • For every client we keep their pictures for maximum period of 1 year since the date the pictures have been delivered to them. It's the clients responsibility to save copies of the pictures.

  • During a photoshoot we don't take responsibilty for any damages or injures that may occur to any of our clients. We neither take any responsibilites for any damage our client may make.

6. Photography tours&workshops

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before booking a tour/workshop. By using our tours/workshop services, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you don't agree to this terms you should not use our services.

Please note that some of our tours and workshops may have different terms and conditions. These may be different from the terms and conditions provided on this website. For example, if you've booked a tour or workshop in which a company or photography club have hired us to organize it, then the terms and conditions may vary.

6.1 Tour Planning

  • We are only responsible for planning the tour itinerary, including selecting locations and booking accommodations and transportation.

  • While we will do our best to ensure that your tour runs as smoothly as possible, we cannot be held responsible for any unexpected changes or issues that may arise during the tour and your trip.

6.2 Booking and Payment

  • All bookings made through our website are subject to availability.

  • To secure your booking, a deposit is required. You will receive an invoice, with a payment period of 14 days, after the booking date. If the deposit payment doesn't occur on the date specified in the invoice, we have the right to treat your booking as cancelled.

  • Full payment for the tour is due 90 days prior to the start date of the tour. For the full payment you will receive an 14 days payment invoice 104 days prior to the start date of the tour. If the full payment don't occur on the date specified in the invoice we have the right to treat your booking as cancelled and keep the deposit.

  • If you make you booking 90 days prior to the start date of the tour, both deposit and rest of the payment is required.

  • All payments must be made in Euros ( € )

6.3 Booking your flights, train tickets and accommodation

Please note that meeting points may vary depending on the location of your tour/workshop. It's good to count to be on the meeting point at least one day before so in case of any delays you will not miss the tour. IMPORTANT! Do not book your flights or train tickets before we have informed you that the tour/workshop will occur for sure. If you do so in case of a cancellation or change this is on your own responsibility.

6.4 Cancellations and Refunds

  • Any cancellation by the client must be made in writing. The date on which the email is received by us will determine the cancellation charges applicable.

  • The deposit that is stated on the tour description is no-refundable.

  • Cancellations made more than 90 days prior to the start date of the tour are subject to a full refund. (deposit is non-refundable)

  • Cancellations made between 75 and 90 days prior to the start date of the tour are subject to a 35% refund.(deposit is non-refundable)

  • Cancellations made between 60 and 75 days prior to the start date of the tour are subject to a 50% refund.(deposit is non-refundable)

  • Cancellations made less than 60 days prior to the start date of the tour are non-refundable.(deposit is non-refundable)

  • Please note that we do not offer refunds for no-shows or unused services during the tour.

  • In the event of underbooking, this is the situation in which the minimum number of bookings required to run a tour is not met, and if we have to cancel a tour for this reason, you will be eligible for a full-refund.

  • In the event that a tour leader is unable to attend due to illness or accident, we will attempt to find a suitable replacement. If we are unable to find a replacement, we will change the date of the tour or cancel it altogether.

6.5 Changes to Your Tour

  • We reserve the right to modify or cancel your tour for any reason, including but not limited to unforeseen circumstances such as weather conditions, natural disasters, war or a pandemic.

  • In the event that we need to modify your tour, we will do our best to provide an alternative itinerary of equal value.

  • In the event that we need to cancel your tour, you will receive a full refund.

  • In the event of underbooking, this is the situation in which the minimum number of bookings required to run a tour is not met, and if we have to cancel a tour for this reason, you will be eligible for a refund.

6.6 Liability and Insurance

  • We take all reasonable care in providing our tours, but we cannot be held responsible for any loss, damage, injury, or death to you or your property during the tour.

  • You are responsible for your own health and safety while on this tour. We will not be responsible for any injuries, illnesses, or other problems that may occur during the tour. If we think you are not in good enough health to take part in the tour, we may ask you to leave the tour at any time.

  • It is your responsibility to ensure that you have adequate travel insurance to cover any potential risks.

  • We strongly recommend that you purchase travel insurance and trip insurance before embarking on our tour.

  • We cannot be held responsible for any flight, train or in any kind of transport cancellations, delays or loss.

6.7 Documents 

  • It is the responsibility of the tour participants to ensure that they have the documents needed to enter Finland.

  • Tour participants must have valid passports, visas and permits that are valid for the entire duration of the tour.

  • It is important to note that Nordic Captures does not accept responsibility for any medical conditions, illness or injury that may befall a tour participant during their trip. The company does not offer medical support. If you are traveling with a medical condition, we strongly recommend that you inform us before booking your trip and bring all necessary medical certificates with you on your journey.
